In Memory of Rodica Gelca
It is with extreme sadness we share with you the untimely passing of our dear colleague, Dr. Rodica Gelca, in a tragic accident that took place on March 27, 2018.
Rodica was a much loved member of the TTU Climate Science Center, where she was a research professor, and the TTU Dept. of Mathematics & Statistics, where she served as an instructor.
This fund is established in her memory by the Climate Science Center in collaboration with the Dept. of Mathematics & Statistics to provide her husband, Razvan Gelca, with support for family expenses during this difficult time. Once those expenses have been met, remaining funds will be contributed to the Dr. Rodica Gelca Memorial Scholarship that has been established in the TTU College of Arts and Sciences.
