Romy was a beloved Registered Nurse who worked at NYP Columbia Adult Emergency Department for 20 years. He was an incredible soul and human being who devoted his life to saving others. He radiated love, kindness and joy and had a spirit full of enthusiasm that was hard to match. His smile, his compassion and his generosity towards loved ones and strangers was what made him special. He was a loyal friend, devoted husband, brother, son, and uncle. He spent his career mentoring young nurses and teaching others how to heal others through kindness. Romy died a HERO and will always be remembered as one.
