In Memory of Ryan C. Smith

On behalf of the Smith Family and Friends:
The Smith Family has suffered a heartbreaking loss. Having survived leukemia and Hodgkin’s lymphoma in recent years, Ryan C. Smith experienced a brief illness and passed unexpectedly from pneumonia on Sunday, June 28, 2020. This is an especially hard time for all that knew and loved him. As we grieve, we keep in mind that although Ryan may no longer be here to bring the laughter, he’d never want us to worry and with that, we must “keep that same energy” he carried throughout his 32 years.
Ryan leaves us with many lasting and cheerful memories. Not only was he a loving son, brother and husband; he was a phenomenal father, friend, mentor, and coach. One of the most caring and thoughtful people to grace the earth -- Ryan had a charming and charismatic personality that lifted the spirits of all those around him.
During this tough time, take a moment to reflect on and share your fondest memories of Ryan. Our hope is that we can continue to honor and remember the joy, love, and encouragement that Ryan brought to the lives of many.
The Smith Family appreciates your love and support during this trying time. Please continue to keep their entire family lifted in prayer. With a heavy heart, we ask for your support to aid in the final send-off for Ryan Smith. We know that nothing will take away a pain as deep as this one, but we do not want the Smith family to focus on financial burdens. Anything counts, and anything will help. All donations will go to his family.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
1A To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
