In Memory of Sarah Taylor Eden

Hi Friends,

In November of 2023 Sarah was admitted to hospital with pain, thinking she just needed some medication adjusted. Unfortunately the diagnosis was a rare and aggressive form of anaplastic pancreatic cancer. Sarah was surrounded by her friends and family when she returned home to her favorite place on Vashon island. Once returning to the United States Sarah was admitted to the University of Washington Hospital where she received medical treatment and chemotherapy.It became evident that the chemo was not working, and Sarah got transferred to UWMC for end of life care. Sarah was surrounded by loved ones during her final hours on January 25, 2024. Before she passed, she said she was at peace. She felt so blessed to have had such a full life, filled with love, and she felt everyone’s good wishes and appreciated them all.

Sarah’s death came suddenly and unexpectedly to her family and her children. We have decided to set up a GoFundMe to support Reid and Ali, and to help ease the financial burden and resulted stress that they are facing. Anything donated will be used to offset memorial costs. Any donations made beyond this goal will be used to pay medical bills. If you would like to show your support at this difficult time, donations of any size are welcome.
