In memory of Sawyer Velting

Sawyer was born to his parents in the spring of 2018, a firstborn in every sense of the word. Sawyer was bright, quick as a whip, articulate, and wise beyond his years.

Sawyer was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma at 6 months old and after nearly two years of treatment he was cancer free! Sadly, Sawyer and his family have had to three more relapses since that day in 2020 and recently, Sawyer passed away at 6.5 years old on November 18, 2024.

Sawyer is loved by many, too many to count. But especially loved by his Mom Ashley, Dad Kaylen, and brothers Benny and Myles.

This gofundme has been set up by some of those who love Sawyer and his family. We have put it together to support the Veltings with funeral and bereavement costs. No parent plans for a short life with their child, the grief felt in this time is indescribable. Our hope is to help alleviate some of the funeral costs and to enable the family to focus on each other and healing their hearts right now instead of financial burdens.
