In Memory of Scott Grim

Scott passed away peacefully on January 8th from his 7-month battle with cancer. He was a caring, compassionate, and selfless soul that was loved and will be missed by many. Scott was a devoted Husband and teacher.

Scott dedicated his life to his 2 passions; History and teaching. To say that he taught history at Holy Child Academy for 23 years is an understatement. Scott brought a passionate and unique approach to teaching history that made it come to life; which engaged, inspired and strengthened the students and families that he taught for over 2 decades. His students were more than students; they became family.

Scott was a very hands-on and involved Uncle to his nieces and nephew. Whether it was family game nights, doing arts and crafts projects, coaching little league, trips to the book store, going to the playground or cheering them on at sports he was always there and was the one with the biggest smile. His family was his life.

We ask those who knew and loved Scott to help support Eileen with medical expenses remaining from the 7-month battle, funeral and burial expenses, and expenses that help her to honor his memory.
