In Memory of Serge "Sergo" Laguerre

My name is Sergine Laguerre, and I am the eldest daughter of Serge Laguerre Jr., known to many as Sergo. My father was a gifted and passionate musician who dedicated his life to the Haitian community. Throughout his career, my father played in many well-known bands, including Papash, Krezi Mizik, Bel Plezi, Phantom, Strings, Zin, Harmonik, Lakol, and Gabel. His undeniable talents and free-spirited nature touched the hearts of so many, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sadly, last year my father fell ill and was diagnosed with kidney disease. This required him to undergo dialysis treatment three times a week. Despite the challenges, he remained strong demonstrating his resilience and love for life. It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of his passing.

During this incredibly difficult time, I am humbly asking for your support to help cover my father's funeral and other related expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Also, if you have any fond memories or stories of my father please share them here.
