My beloved Mamu (Uncle) Shahid Ahmed Siddiqui departed this world on Jan 10, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Living miles apart, my Mamu kept our family connected. He was always there with a smile on his face if anyone needed him. He was rich in character and in faith. He had no children but many nieces and nephews and grandnephews who he loved deeply. He organized my Aqiqah and my two sons’ as well. Even though he was not physically here with us, his presence was there through graduation, marriage and children.
In tribute to my Mamu, I would like to help build a well in Pakistan in his name. My goal is to raise $3000 to build a submersible pump with water storage tanks via Helping Hands.
Please remember my Mamu in your duas. May Allah (SWT) forgive him, have mercy on him, pardon him, grant him Paradise and unite him with our beloved Prophet (PBUH).
