The pain of losing a child is unfathomable, but to lose a second child only 12 months later is heartbreakingly unfair.
On behalf of his grieving mother, Blanca, and father, Julio, it is with tremendous sadness that I share news of the sudden passing of Shawn Lam, 24, who joins his brother Phillip Lam as an angel in heaven.
Shawn passed away on Saturday, June 5th, taken away far too soon for a young man who had so much life to live. Shawn was a caring, sweet, humble, hard working person who always watched over his little brothers and sister. If you knew Shawn, you know his smile was so infectious he could light up a room. "There are some who bring a light so bright to the world, that even after they are gone the light remains."
Shawn is survived by his loving mother (Blanca), father (Julio), brothers (Joe, 18, and Derrick, 7) and little sister (Amy, 16).
As you can imagine, funeral expenses can be very costly and this will be the second funeral for this beautiful family in only a year. The tragedy is too much to bear and the financial burden too overwhelming. Every little bit will help and I know they will be forever grateful for your love and support. Thank you for your generosity and prayers for Shawn and his family.
