In Memory of Sophie Sullivan and Audrie Stephens

Hello, my name is Tristan Sullivan and I am raising money in memory of my sister, Sophie, and her best friend and roommate, Audrie. 

The evening of Saturday, April 16, 2022, the two were returning home from Minneapolis to go to my Mom's house, (Suzanne Sullivan,) for Easter Sunday. 

Instead of Sophie knocking on the door at 3:00 that following morning, it was the police. They told my mom that Sophie's car had been hit in a front-end collision by an oncoming vehicle in the wrong lane! ( And the driver was driving without headlights on!*) Both girls died.

Anybody who knew Sophie knew she was a candle in the dark; she was the person people came to lean on. She had a smile for miles and so much energy. Smart, responsible, with a HUGE heart for others—she was ferociously protective of her family and the people she cared about…and she cared about Audrie.

Audrie was her best friend, her confidante, her Soul Sister. She was sweet, creative, and fun. They did everything together; laughing all the time—from TikTok videos to adding just the right amount of cheese on their Tteokbokki.  

It hurts to think their young lives (21 and 20) were cut so short and that they won't get a chance to sing, dance, or do silly things anymore.

I want to raise funds so we can try to lessen the financial burden during this tragic time as much as possible. Especially for my mom, who is devastated and won’t stop reaching for my hand, as if I’ll disappear if she shuts her eyes.

All Donations will go to Suzanne Sullivan, to be used for outstanding obligations, and so she can help pay for both girls like she wants, (funeral or memorial service, or celebration of life expenses, etc.) She knew how much the girls meant to each other and truly looked at Audrie like her second daughter. I think she would do most anything for them both.

If we can raise enough where we could help create or erect some kind of memorial, or original memento that might be cherished by both families, that would be even better. The girls were nothing short of original and amazing.
