In memory of my son, Spencer Vespole, food pantry donations

Hi, I’m Lindy, and Dec. 13 is the anniversary of the day my son Spencer died from cancer. Spencer is shown in the picture with his siblings, and his partner, Sarah. In his memory, I am raising money, as well as collecting food, to donate to the Pierre Toussaint Food Pantry in Newark, NJ. There is a great need for donations, with fewer resources than some areas have. If you prefer to drop off feed, please contact me and we can make arrangements. I will be collecting now until the end of Dec (although there really is no deadline because I donate on an ongoing basis). Spencer volunteered and donated there beginning when he was in the 7th grade. Spencer grew up in Montclair, then went to school in Newark at St. Benedict's Prep. He graduated from Bowdoin College, then returned to Newark where he lived and worked as a teacher and water polo coach. He was proud to contribute to the fabric of that historic and culturally important city. I am proud to carry on this work as a way to honor my beautiful son.
