In Memory of Stephany Lok Poon: Family Support

It is with profound shock and sadness that we share the sudden passing of Stephany Lok Poon. To know Stephany was to know a gentle soul, someone whose kindness extended to all. She had an unwavering love for her family and friends, and her passions for art and anime made her an admired artist in her community. Stephany’s joyful spirit, warm smile, and positive outlook on life touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Stephany is survived by her mother Alice, Alice’s partner Daren Schuck, sister Wendy, brother-in-law Jon, niece Olivia, nephew Conor, and her beloved dog Elliot. The unexpected nature of her passing has left a void in their hearts that is unimaginable.

In this time of immense grief, the family is seeking financial support. Additionally, we hope to help Alice visit her family in Brazil and China, as the loss of her daughter, following the passing of her husband 11 years ago, has been particularly devastating.

For those unaware of the circumstances:

Early Friday morning, Stephany was tragically found in a crashed Honda Accord in Vallejo after shots were fired near Tennessee Street and Mare Island Way. She had suffered a gunshot wound and had to be extricated from the vehicle due to the severity of the collision. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether her death was caused by the gunfire, the crash, or both. Authorities have not yet determined whether this was a targeted attack or a random act of violence.
