In Memory of Stephen: Support His Loved Ones

Donation protected
On early Sunday morning August 18, 2024 our beloved son and brother, Stephen Mancilla Carlos, was a victim of gun violence in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. After a long fight from Stephen, his family and friends, he unfortunately was called to heaven. His life was cut short by an act of violence that we can scarcely comprehend. It is an unimaginable loss, one that has shaken us to our core.

We must remember him for who he truly was. His kindness was not just a trait but a way of life, woven into every interaction, every gesture. His laughter was infectious, his smile, a source of comfort and warmth. He was a fighter, not just in the literal sense but in every challenge life presented him. Let us fight against the darkness that took him from us by ensuring that his light continues to shine through our actions. His legacy endures in the lives he touched and the love he left behind.

With this sudden loss our family is left with more than just heartache but unexpected financial expenses. All donations are greatly appreciated during this time and will help ease some of the financial burden left behind; extensive medical bills, service arrangements, and remaining living expenses. We appreciate your support during this time as family members have been at Stephen's bed side since this tragic event.

Thank you for your kindness,

The Mancilla Carlos family
