Hello all,

It is with a heavy heart that we have the unfortunate task of creating this fundraiser for 2 very special and very loved people, Stephen Ray May, 55 years old, and his loving wife, Deborah Michelle May, 50 years, taken from this earth too soon on Sunday, October 13th, 2024.

Survived by their only son, Chad May, 29, he is left with this tremendous burden of not only losing both parents suddenly and tragically, but the responsibility of coordinating and navigating funeral services, burials, and all that comes with it. We're asking the community, family, and friends to please help cover these costs as Steve and Deborah did not have life insurance. So far we've been told it will be roughly $6k-$8k per person for each of them.

Steve and Deborah, married for 29 years, were killed while doing one of their favorite shared activities, cruising on their motorcycle in the Hillsboro area, when a commercial tractor pulling a hay trailer attempted to cross the street from one field to the other and right into their path. We've been told that it didn't appear they had time to react and collided with the farm equipment, killing them instantly.

Friends and family alike are all devastated by this news, but Chad is taking the full force of this as he was an only child and his parents were his whole world. We realize times are hard for all of us financially these days, but please consider giving what you can. This tremendous loss is compounded by the total costs of expenses for two people. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, we are asking solely for monetary help at this time.
