In Memory of Steve Brickfield: World Food Programme-Ukraine

On June 2nd, 2024 we lost an amazing friend, brother, and son. Steve Brickfield strived to make everyone feel welcomed. He would make sure you had a loaf of bread on your birthday. He would reach out to invite you to his family dinner. He would always make time to catch up during a party or get together to catch-up. For many of us, his passing doesn't seem real. Steve had an extensive friend group, including many from high school and earlier. This is a testament to how many people enjoyed and valued him as a person.

Many of us are struggling to distill years of friendship into something shorter than a multi-volume book. Steve gave us a lifetime of laughter, joy, adventure, caring, and growth. He was the best of us and the world is a little darker without him.

One of Steve's greatest passions was feeding people. He also cared deeply for Ukrainian humanitarian response. Our goal is to raise money in Steve's name to the World Food Programme's efforts in Ukraine.
