In memory of Suki Kaur and support for her son
Donation protected
Please help us remember Suki and rally together for her son Tiago. We ask that if you kindly leave a donation you may also leave a memory you may have of Suki. How you knew her or a memory you shared of a time spent with her. These will also be shared with Tiago.
If we could describe Suki, it would be as the hearth of the home. Her warmth and light radiated upon all those who knew and loved her. Her life was certainly not short on challenges, but she accepted her hardships and was never short on showing kindness and generosity of spirit to others. Known for her loyalty and ability to cheer anyone up who needed it, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Her death on September 29th 2021, was tragic, especially in consideration of the beloved son, Tiago, aged 14, she left behind. Suki silently struggled with illness for quite some time, but her death still came as a shock to all that knew her.
Like Suki was the light in so many of our lives, her darling Tiago was the light in hers. We now feel the responsibility to carry on her greatest desire, which was to give Tiago all the love and opportunities possible. Teenagehood, as we all know, is one of the most difficult times in life, but Tiago faces even more challenges without the unconditional love and support of our cherished Suki. Help us give him a port in the storm, a beacon of light that will remind him that he’s loved and cared for.
In keeping with Suki’s greatest wish, we’d like to request even the smallest donations in honour of her, that in turn, will help secure a semblance of consistency in Tiago’s future. These funds will be put in direct support of Tiago’s livelihood, enabling him to participate in extracurricular activities, post secondary education and at its core, a semblance of consistency in what is sure to be a difficult path.
Tiago, is patient, kind and mature for his age, a true testament to Suki’s parenting skills. She was fair, logical and bursting with unconditional love when it came to Tiago, and while we can never replace her, we can rally together in support of her legacy, her son, Tiago.
