In Loving Memory of
Susan Marie (Roy) Arsenault
January 20, 1964 – September 5, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Marie (Roy) Arsenault, 60 of Beverly on September 5, 2024. She was born in Beverly to her late parents, Robert and Catherine (Wendell) Roy. Sue was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, a cherished friend, and a proud nana.
Sue lived a life filled with love, compassion, and selflessness, always putting her daughters and grandbabies at the center of her world. Her unwavering love for them was evident in everything she did. She nurtured them with boundless care and pride, guiding them with wisdom and kindness. Sue was not only a mother but a best friend, mentor, and source of strength for her girls, creating a bond that will live on forever. Although her time with us was far too brief, Sue’s legacy will live on through her daughters, whose lives reflect the values of love and resilience, she instilled in them. Her spirit will continue to shine through them, as they carry forward her light, her infectious one-of-a-kind laughter, and her love.
Susan is survived by her four loving daughters Tamara Arsenault and her husband Steffan Mainini of Beverly, Tabatha Arsenault and her fiancé Jason Silva of Salem, Tianna Arsenault of Beverly and Tayla Arsenault of Salem. She was the doting grandmother “nana” to her three grandsons Connor, Christopher, and Tucker.
Susan is also survived by her three siblings: her sisters, Kathie Actis and her husband Paul of FL and Carol Roy and her husband Paul Chakoian of Haverhill and her brother Robert Roy Jr. of Seabrook NH.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and love of her life, Marc E. Arsenault, in December, 2021. Married at St. Mary’s Church in Beverly, March of 1987, they built a lasting legacy through their four daughters, three grandsons, and the future generations to come.
In our hearts, she will forever be remembered as a kindhearted woman whose smile and bright eyes could light up a room, and a gentle soul who touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will live on and she will be missed by all.
A graveside service will be held for Susan at Greenlawn Cemetery in Salem, MA on Tuesday September 17th at 11:00am. Friends and Family are cordially invited to attend. A Celebration of Life will be held at AOH Salem on October 6, 2024, details to follow.
