In Memory of Susana "Chocolate" Rosales
Donation protected
On July 31, 2020 we lost our mom. Most knew her as "Chocolate". We would like to give her the memorial that she deserves, to honor our mom's memory until we see her again. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of our moms funeral. The big question people have, how did she pass? Our mom lived in a trailer in an alley (her choice). She stepped on a nail the day prior to her 60th birthday. She was diabetic and didn't heal. A month later, she decided to go to the hospital and was admitted, had surgery and was there for almost two weeks. She decided to leave against medical advice. She didn't take care of herself. Fast forward, four month later, she stopped eating, infection got worse, and started becoming disoriented. Her boyfriend Mikey called 911 and she was taken to the hospital on July 30th. Unfortunately she was taken as a Jane Doe. We didn't actually locate her until July 31st. She was admitted with high glucose levels, low blood pressure, kidney failure, disoriented and swelling in her leg where she had the infection from the nail. Her heart was no longer pumping blood to her organs. She coded twice before we made it to the hospital but they were able to revive her. She waited for us to all see her one by one (thank you Covid) before she finally let go. No donation is too small. We truly appreciate the help and support from all of you. Thank you in advance, her daughter Evelyn, and sons Johnny and Ruben.
