In Memory of Teresa Smalls: Funeral Fund

On Sunday August 18th, Teresa Bernadette Smalls tragically passed away at only 66 years old. She had gone in for what she thought would be a routine stay where she would get her levels stabilized and go back home, but complications arose, and her condition turned very quickly.

Teresa was a light to all who knew her. She was funny, strong willed, and would help anyone who asked to the best of her abilities. She loved fishing and the outdoors, spending time with her dog, and her nightly routine of watching Hallmark or Lifetime movies until she fell asleep in her recliner.

She lived a life with many twists and turns, filled with much excitement and also insurmountable loss, but through it all she became a kind and caring person. She was strong for those who couldn’t muster their own strength and loved who she loved with unwavering acceptance. She taught so many what it meant to live and love in the present. The loss of her presence leaves the world a dimmer place.

Teresa didn’t tell many people she was in the hospital, as she never wanted to worry anybody, so this all comes as a complete shock and therefore no plans were made in case this happened.

All money received will go towards funeral expenses and also the expenses incurred from taking care of the home she lived in for 10 years.
