In Memory of The Birdman Robin Earl Weber

Our family is raising funds to cover burial and funeral for my Father Robin Earl Weber. As you may know traditional funeral practices are highly pollutive and therefore unsustainable. As awareness of the environmental harm caused by the traditional funeral industry grows, so does interest in green funeral alternatives. One such alternative practice is soil transformation. Also referred to as natural organic reduction or human composting, this is a natural, environmentally-friendly alternative to burial and cremation. As an appealing process that is conceptually similar to cremation, soil transformation is the green funeral option with the biggest positive impact on the industry.
What Is Soil Transformation?Soil transformation refers to the gentle transformation of a body into nutrient-rich soil. The soil transformation process uses the principles of nature to transform bodies into soil. Conditions found in the natural world are recreated by balancing elements and optimizing temperature and moisture levels. The body is broken down on a molecular level and the end result is healthy soil, which can then be used for a variety of conservation purposes. My father was a nature lover through and through. Always spreading love and peace. He was a free spirit who always found a way to give back to the community even though he didnt have a lot of things. He did not want to have a typical burial because he believed it was bad for the environment. Robin wanted to somehow give back to the earth in his passing and we believe that this is the best way to honor him. This fund will assist us in laying him to rest as well as fortify the environment. In the event that there is more than the cost of his memorial our family is commited to keeping this fund open to assist the homeless and disabled as well as spread awareness of Prostate Cancer, Elevated Factor VIII, Stroke, and Congestive Heart Failure in our community. Robin and his wife Julia were both disabled, active volunteers in the community for over 20 years. They assisted in various food banks in Pierce County as well as Safe Streets, and C.E.R.T. Robin is survived by his wife Julia, his daughter Crystal 42, His Son David, and his granddaughter Lillyanna (Mel).
