In Memory of Thomas Vasquez: Family Support
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Alma Venden. I am the sister of the beloved Thomas David Vasquez, more commonly known by Thomas, Tommy, Tommy D, Shomas, Tommy Boy, Uncle Thomas, and Little Big Brother.
On October 19, 2024, Thomas took his final breath. His passing came unexpectedly, leaving his family and many others broken hearted. Thomas was a giver and one of the most authentic people you would ever cross paths with. He gave to anyone who would accept his help and at times, override your "No thanks. I'm ok," because he intuitively knew you were not "ok." His tight hugs, big smile, and even bigger heart is what people remember most about him. His best friends say, "They broke the mold when they made Tommy." He had a love for drawing, music, the outdoors, and one of his biggest loves was for his faithful K-9 companion, TT. One day at a time, his family and friends are mourning this loss and learning to live without his kind soul being ever present. His absence has left a gigantic hole in the hearts of the people in his hometown of Milton Freewater, Oregon.
In an effort to relieve the financial strain this tragedy has put upon my mother and the rest of our family, I have created this GoFundMe to assist with the cost of the arrangements and a memorial service. Please know, we have not yet scheduled a memorial service. However, once the cost of these expenses have been covered, any excess funds will be donated to the organization where he adopted TT, Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, in Thomas's name. If you can give, thank you. If you cannot give financially, please send positive thoughts and prayers for everyone who knew him. Find a local shelter to donate to, a person who needs someone to talk to, or simply show kindness and love to all those around you. It's what he would have wanted.
My condolences to all who are experiencing this unspeakable loss.
Thank you for taking the time to consider a way to help our family.
Alma Venden
To My Little Big Brother,
