In Memory of Tim Ross

On August 9th, 2024, Tim Ross of Ellicott City, MD lost his 12-year battle with cancer at the age of 51.  Tim was a wonderful husband, dog dad, son, brother, uncle and friend who touched the lives of everyone around him.  Unfortunately, Tim had no life insurance policy due the early onset of the cancer and was unable to continue working due to the aggressiveness of the disease.  However, he was a fighter!  His wife, Jule, has been his sole caregiver and had to significantly cut her work hours as a teacher several times throughout last spring 2024 and had to take off from her summer job in the summer to care for Tim as the disease progressed and daily treatments and several hospitalizations became necessary.  

Tim and Jule knew each other most of their lives, growing up in the same neighborhood, going to the same high school, and lifeguarding together as teenagers.  The two reconnected just prior to his cancer diagnosis and finally got married in May 2022, thinking that the worst was behind them. Unfortunately, that was not the case.  Besides losing her beloved husband, Jule now faces the cost of the funeral and the incoming medical bills.  

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover funeral expenses and medical bills.
