In memory of Tina Luong
Donation protected
Tina was battling breast cancer since late 2017. She passed away on March 19, 2021 at the age of 32. Unfortunately, this happened to her at such a young age. Cancer is a disease that not only affects your body physically but also mentally and emotionally. She chose not to disclose her medical condition to people around her because she wanted to live normally and everyone around her to live normally. This news may have come off as a surprise or shock to most people since she kept it to herself.
As her cousin, she was one of my best friends and one of the strongest women I know. She was smart, loving, genuine, and charismatic with a feisty attitude. She was always independent and cared for the people around her. Her heart was always willing help others around her and never asked for anything in return. She accomplished so much, and I am proud that she made our family shine. She was very dedicated to her passions and worked hard for a bright future. As a math teacher, she bonded with her student and regularly offered support to the best of her ability to ensure that they are on top of their work. Losing an extraordinary person like her is a big loss to the family, friends, and people she worked with.
The funds that we receive will go directly to cover the funeral expenses. It will help ease the financial burden on the family and we appreciate the massive support through this unfortunate news.
Whether you are her family, relative, childhood friend, friend from school, colleague, or someone who came across her life, it will be an honor to have Tina's loved ones there to celebrate her life. The details about the funeral have not been made yet. I will post updates accordingly when information becomes official.
