In Memory of Todd: Alleviate Family's Strain
Donation protected
Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you all well. I am writing to share with you a heartbreaking situation that has recently impacted my family. My son, Todd Benjamin jr, who was a bright and loving young man, was tragically shot twice in the head in a senseless act of violence in Savannah, GA in April 2022 while walking down the street. As a result, he was left with life-altering injuries, and he had a challenging road to recovery.
What makes this situation particularly challenging is that Todd was autistic. As many of you know, caring for a child with autism requires a great deal of patience, understanding, and specialized support. The traumatic nature of his injuries had only intensified the difficulties we faced. On 24 June 2024, my son succumbed to his injuries at home surrounded by his family and friends.
We are raising funds to help cover medical expenses, funeral costs, and any other financial burdens. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping us. I understand that times are tough for many, and I do not make this request lightly. However, any support you can provide, whether it be through a donation or by sharing our story with your network, would mean the world to us. Your kindness and generosity will not only alleviate the financial strain on our family but also provide us with the strength and hope we need. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our story and for considering supporting us during this incredibly trying time. Your compassion and support will have a profound impact. With deepest gratitude, Regina Royal
