In Memory of Todd Jensen: Help For His Young Family

Hi, my name is Mary Jean Inman. I first met Todd Jensen at a ranch rodeo in 2018 where he was competing alongside my brothers Paul & Calvin Mathis. Come to find out we were both from Colfax and our kids were in the same class. Soon after, I met his beautiful wife, Rachel, and his kids Tommy Jo and Clancy. They made an impact on me, as they do, and we became very good friends.

Just under a year ago, Todd was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. After putting up the kind of fight only a cowboy can, Todd lost his battle with cancer on April 28, 2024, surrounded by his close friends and family.

Todd was the kind of guy that showed up for his people. If his friends needed help he was there. He would rope and brand calves for you all day, but he would also come haul your goats dressed up in silly Christmas sweaters and help strap jingle bells to his daughter's pony for the community Christmas parade.

Last summer those who loved Todd came together and put on a roping and racing event and auction that blew the Jensen's away at the love and generosity of their community. The funds raised from that event allowed them to take this last year and do everything they could to fight the battle at hand. They are quiet, private people, so many may not know that it was a long, hard road. They were not able to work or do much else besides try to keep some semblance of normal for their kids and fight for Todd's health.

As we all know life and its expenses keep marching on. So many of you have approached me and asked how you can help. I think this GoFundMe gives the best flexibility to be truly helpful to Rachel and the kids as they learn to navigate life without their rock, the man we all knew and loved deeply, Todd Jensen.
