In Memory of Tom Gonzales

On May 16th, 2022, Tom Gonzales, loving husband, father of two, and accomplished editor, passed away after his long and courageous fight against cancer. His passion and positive attitude deeply impacted those lucky enough to have known him.

 

Tom worked in the Pixar Editorial Department, and he was well-known throughout the studio for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering optimism. Those who got to know Tom over his 18 years at Pixar know that he was never one to let his illness overshadow his devotion to making great films and his contagiously positive attitude. He was the heart and soul of every team he worked on throughout his career constantly, boosting morale and spirits. He truly loved Pixar.

 

Tom was just as passionate about his family life. He was a wonderfully devoted husband to his wife, Becky, and a loving father to his 7-year-old daughter, Emma, and 4-year-old son, Leo.

 

We hope that we may come together as a community of friends and artists to raise money for the Tom Gonzales Memorial Fund. All proceeds will go directly to help support Becky, Emma, and Leo, now and into the future. Many of you have expressed a desire to help Tom’s family in some way. By donating, you are directly helping to support his family for years to come.
