In Memory of Tom Lorezca

Hi, my name is Arleh. I am Tom's only sister (in-law) and the mother of Tom's only nephew, Raylen. On May 23, 2022, Tom was senselessly and violently taken away from us. He was shot and killed by a client while on the job. He was only 40 years old. His beloved dog, Alpine, was in the cab with him.
Just a week prior, his mother Crispina had taken an emergency flight to the Philippines to say goodbye to her brother, who had passed away. Not even a week later, she had to take another emergency flight back to Seattle to deal with the devastation of losing her firstborn son.
The pain of losing a sibling/child is something I don't wish on anybody. Unfortunately, I have first-hand experience of losing an older brother. I FELT the toll it took on my parents, especially my mom. Tom went to great lengths to take care of his 3 brothers (Christopher, Boris, and Kenny) and his mom. Anyone close to Tom knows that Tom did not want finances to be an issue for his family. At 16 years old, he took on the role of Head of Household. Often times, Tom gave a first impression of being authoritative. But seeing him around his mother showed the world how much he adored and cared for her. He was humble, dedicated, reliable, intelligent, and hard-working. He did not take life or the people in his life for granted. He was taken away too soon.
Tom's close friend, Scott Bautista, and I are coordinating this Go Fund Me to help relieve the cost of Tom's estate, legal fees, and the last-minute international flights and accommodations for Tom's parents during their time of extreme grief and mourning.
Thank you for your friendship, your time, and your support.
A big thank you to Bill, Sr. of Beacon Plumbing for his significant contribution to the funeral expenses for Tom. Also thank you to Tom's inner-circle of friends for doing what they can to do right by him.
