In Memory of Tony Agee: Funeral Fund

This fundraiser is to pay for the funeral of a dear friend, Anthony (Tony) Agee, who passed away unexpectedly this morning. He didn’t have life insurance, so his spouse and family need help paying for his funeral. In addition, all of his assets are locked up until his spouse can present a death certificate that it will take some time to receive, so his spouse currently doesn’t have access to their accounts. Any amount you can donate, no matter how small, will be very much appreciated.

I am creating this at the request of his spouse, who is understandably in shock today. I don’t feel like it is my right to speak for his very beloved spouse, so I will share my story of knowing Tony.

My husband and I have known Tony for over 30 years, and we both always adored him. It seemed that in any environment we encountered him in, he was the shining light of that environment. That is probably because of his deep spirituality that was so apparent in his demeanor. He passed on the love that was a natural result of his spiritual disciplines by being an LMT and Reiki Practitioner. I’m also an LMT, and Tony was my mentor in some of the disciplines that I learned as supplementary disciplines to help me be a better LMT. I was often humbled by his wisdom, knowledge, intuition and great compassion. He was a light in this sometimes dark world, and he will be greatly missed by many.

Since Tony passed away this morning, we don’t yet have a service date. I imagine it will be some time in the next week.
