In Memory of Trevor “Trey” Theriault

On March 04, 2023, Trevor Theriault left this Earth much too soon.

Since his passing, friends and family have expressed interest in developing a memorial bench for Trevor and other Kitimat Skatepark Alumni. Being that Trevor was deeply involved in the development and roll-out of the skatepark in Kitimat, those who knew him feels as though this would be a proper tribute to him, as well as other Kitimat “legends”.

A small group of family and friends will be approaching council in the coming weeks to develop a plan for the bench as well as associated requirements.

Should profits exceed or be unable to go towards a bench (pending DOK bylaws), the family would like to have any monies raised to be donated to Northern Health’s Mental Health and Substance Abuse programs in the Kitimat area.
