In Loving Memory of Tyler Wang

This fundraiser is in memory of an exceptionally special young man, Tyler John Wang. Tyler was diagnosed with leukemia this past October and fought a courageous battle until it unexpectedly took him from us on the morning of July 4th. Tyler would be celebrating his 15th birthday on August 1st. He was an extremely charismatic boy who had a shy smile and open arms for anyone who asked for a hug. While being cared for at Kaiser and UCSF over the past several months, his mom shared that, "He swayed all of the nurses who cared for him." He made a long-lasting impression on not only his nurses, but on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him during his short lifetime. Tyler loved playing football for Dublin High and was looking forward to getting back to his friends and school work and just being a kid. Tyler loved his family dearly and leaves behind his sister, Kira, his loving and devoted parents, Rita and Steven, and their sweet dog, Charlie. There will be a void in their lives that will never be replaced but they will continue to honor his memory every day to come. If you are able to donate to help with unexpected expenses for the Wang family as they plan for Tyler’s Memorial Service, that would be most appreciated.
