In Memory of Tyler White: Support Breya and their children

We are saddened to share that our beloved Breya White’s husband, Tyler White, tragically lost his life in a devastating car accident in Arlington, Texas. Tyler and Breya left a holiday gathering to respond to a dear friend needing roadside assistance where he was struck by a driver who lost control of their vehicle.

Tyler was a kind, hardworking, and loving person whose warmth touched everyone he met. His passing leaves an unimaginable void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Tyler’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and generosity; always the first to lend a helping hand. He is survived by his loving wife, Breya, and his three children.

Breya has touched our lives at SMU; we know she is surrounded by her loving family, friends, church, and SMU community. Please join me in sending our heartfelt condolences and support to Breya and her family.
