In Memory of Tze-Yan Szeto: College Fund for Maya
Donation protected
On behalf of Scott, Maya, and Tze-Ching, I’m writing with a heavy heart to share some absolutely devastating news. Tze-Yan died suddenly on Wednesday, March 3, leaving all of us with the impossible task of saying goodbye to our kind, compassionate, funny, and creative friend -- and leaving her husband Scott, their 17-year-old daughter Maya, and all of her family with the even harder job of grieving and somehow moving forward without her.
Tze-Yan was surrounded by her surviving family when she passed: her loving husband (Scott) and daughter (Maya), her siblings (Tze-Yee and Tze-Ching), and her Mother (Yee-Ha).
Tze-Yan was one-of-a-kind. All of us will forever remember her infectious smile, seen in every photo since she was a tiny tot, and her positive outlook. She was an artist and an athlete, quick-witted, smart and curious about everything. Many of us met her throughout her 30 years of work as a talented and hardworking architect, but she was also known for her dedication to rest and play– taking a quick nap, hiking trails and beaches, and playing all sorts of games. She will be sorely missed by all of us.
For those looking to honor Tze-Yan's memory, we've set up this fundraiser to benefit Maya's college fund. Donations of any amount are deeply appreciated, and we'd also be most grateful for your sharing this memorial fundraiser through your own social networks.
