In Memory of Uzoma and in Support of Loved Ones

We mourn the untimely passing of our dear colleague, Uzoma Ndubuaku, who passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, after a prolonged illness.

Until her untimely passing, Uzoma worked with the Government of Alberta, and actively contributed to the Afro-Heritage Employee Resource Group (AH-ERG), particularly on the last Executive Team as Co-Chair of the Learning and Development Committee. She helped to organize Lunch and Learns and supported the ERG in various ways.

At the age of 34 years, Uzoma's time was far from up and she had so much life left and love to give. She was smart, a hard worker, and was well liked by her teammates and friends. She was survived by her husband, Dr. Onyekachi Ndubuaku and 2 children (ages 3 and 6 years).

As her family, friends and colleagues attempt to come to terms with the grief of losing someone so loved, this GoFundMe account has been created in Uzoma’s memory to accept donations of any amount to help relieve some of the financial pressures and stress that comes with such a loss.
