In Memory of Vaibhav Agarwal

Vaibhav was first diagnosed with the deadly brain tumor, Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) in September of 2021. What started as a 'simple' headache turned into the diagnosis of the deadly GBM.

By the end of 2021, Vaibhav had gone through two brain surgery's to debulk the tumor as much as possible and we had to choose between going with the standard of care, which had not changed for many years to trying a more risky approach with trial medication.

For most of 2022, things looked positive, as Vaibhav continued his cancer treatment, chemo, and radiation. However, things started to turn ugly again towards the later half of 2022, and subsequently into early part of 2023. My March 2023, Vaibhav had started showing visible signs of his body and mind shutting down. The pain was back, and the effects of cancer were starting to show.

On May 1st, Vaibhav lost the fight against GBM. A fight that he fought courageously and with determination to beat all statistics associated with this deadly disease. He is survived by his wife and two beautiful daughters, 10 and 12 years old.

Vaibhav was an awesome brother, father, husband and son. He was loved by everyone and is being dearly missed.
