In Loving Memory of Vanessa Gough

My name is Rozanne.

This GoFundMe campaign has been to honour the life and cherish the memories of our beautiful friend and colleague Vanessa.

As a new team member, I had the privilege of knowing and looking up to Vanessa forming a unique bond that was fuelled by her passion for travel and the enchantment of Europe.

Our discussions created a connection that went beyond the confines of our professional lives.

We exchanged stories of our favourite destinations, shared tips on navigating foreign cities, and she shared with me her dream of the places she longed to visit again. Ireland was one of them as it was especially close to her heart.

In this dream, one of her greatest wishes was to share the wonders of Europe with her beloved daughter Rosie when she was older.

Rosie was her greatest source of inspiration and brought her immeasurable happiness. Anyone who knew Vanessa knew how much she meant to her.

Rosie was her pride and joy and the very essence of her being.

As a colleague, Vanessa brought uniqueness to the workplace. Her work ethic, professionalism and dedication were inspiring, setting a high standard for all of us. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering guidance and support to myself and her colleagues.

She was also thoughtful, compassionate and incredibly kind to those around her. Her kindness and thoughtfulness were in the smallest of gestures. She would remember birthdays and special occasions and always take the time to wish you. The time and effort put into her thoughtfully written notes and handmade cards were also a testament to this.

She touched the lives of everyone around her and will be remembered for how she made us feel. Her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

She may no longer be with us physically, but her spirit will live on in the memories we share

Any contribution, big or small will be for Rosie in honour of her mum. A tribute as a heartfelt thanks to Vanessa and a commemoration of her memory.

The funds will remain with GoFundMe and then to an account set up for Rosie.

Rest in peace, dearest Vanessa and may your dreams, kindness and generosity live on through Rosie. You will be deeply missed.
