In Memory of Verdaine Sanders Curry
Tax deductible
ALL DONATIONS GO TO: UNITED NEGRO COLLEGE FUND
Dear Friends,
This fundraiser is created in memory of Verdaine Sanders Curry, Terry’s mother, who passed away on August 24, 2018. Several people have inquired as to whether they could contribute towards flowers or make a group donation towards a charitable organization. After consulting with Terry, we thought we could honor Verdaine’s memory with a donation to the United Negro College Funds. Verdaine was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years and helped thousands of young people not only to read, write and do arithmetic, but she also helped them on their journey to become responsible and contributing citizens.
All funds raised will go directly to the United Negro College Fund. With your gift, Verdaine’s generous spirit will continue to help young people become highly qualified college graduates.
More Information about Verdaine’s life may be found here: https://www.thatcherfuneralhome.com/notices/Verdaine-Curry
With appreciation,
Julianne, Kara & Melanie
