Vincent Anthony Tavano Jr.
February 4th, 1964 - April 8th, 2021
Vincent Anthony Tavano Jr. of Lake Carmel, NY passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 8th, 2021. Vinny as he was known was born on February 4th, 1964 in Yonkers, New York to Vincent and Laticia (Carlson) Tavano. He is survived by his wife JodiLynn (Johns) Tavano whom he married on June 11th, 1988 in Mount Vernon, New York, and his young son Vincent lll, and his dogs Gizmo and Grizzly, and his fur kitties Mandy and Candy.
He is survived by his two sisters Michelle Richardson and Niki Tavano Cocomello of Arizona as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law's Richard (Donna) Johns, Raymond Johns, and Ronald Johns.
Vinny was the sole owner and contractor of Custom Floors Installations where he was able to show his phenomenal talents with his own designs of hardwood floors/cabinetry. Vinny lived for his wife and son making sure they were always well taken care of and provided for.
In his spare time, Vinny had a passion for bowling, where he bowled several 300 games, playing pool, baseball, and tending to his many fruit trees, vegetables, and plants he had put in his yard. When he had time off, he loved to go down to his condo in West Palm Beach, Florida, and just kick back and take a relaxing swim on the beach.
Vinny had a way of always making people laugh and feel at ease, the minute he walked into a room. He also had a serious side and if you needed advice or help you knew you could go to him without hesitation. He was a wonderful, kindhearted, thoughtful, and caring man. He will be missed deeply and greatly, leaving a hole in his entire family. Vinny will never be forgotten. He will be loved always and forever.
Due to the sudden and unexpected passing of Vincent Tavano, his remaining immediate family JodiLynn and Vincent Tavano III, have been left with a crushing financial burden all while grieving from Vinny’s sudden and unexpected loss.
Losing a husband, father, and friend suddenly has been devastating to all of us. We are asking in lieu of flowers, contributions to Go Fund Me to help Vinny’s immediate family in order for them to grieve, heal, and recover from this loss.
