In Memory of William P. Lafont

Our beloved Willy unexpectedly passed away on 04-19-2023. Willy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 35 years (Ana) and his two children (William and Jillian). Willy dedicated his life to helping others. He was a jack-of-all-trades who could fix anything from broken engines to broken spirits. He had a special talent for making others feel welcome and accepted. His easygoing nature and playful banter made it impossible to be unhappy in his presence. Willy was a bright spark in this world who filled our days with joy and laughter. To know him was to love him. Willy’s death came as a shock to us all and words cannot describe the devastation this has caused our family. We were not prepared to deal with the cost of planning a funeral, so we’re currently asking for donations to help ease this financial burden. Your donation will not only help with the immediate expenses of the funeral, it will also assist in providing support for Willy’s widow as she adjusts to life without her husband.
