In Memory of Zane: Easing Barbara's Burden

Barbara Johnson Holliman has been a single mom to her beloved son , Zane. Zane had autism and multiple medical issues that presented challenges over the years. Barbara was Zane’s fiercest advocate and made sure he lived his best life every day of his 24 years. In the past year or so, Zane was celebrating new independence by living in a group home where he lived with friends and had staff who truly enjoyed watching him step into adulthood with his peers.

In late January, Zane was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. After several weeks of ups and downs and despite the best efforts of a multidisciplinary physician team, Zane passed away on March 4, 2025. This was a sudden illness and a traumatic weeks-long journey ending in the saddest outcome. Let's lighten Barbara’s load by helping her with funeral and final expenses.
