RIP Zoë Anne Scott: Help Celebrate Zoë’s Life and Support Her Family’s Future

On the 19th February, we said goodbye to Zoë Scott.

Zoë was a caring soul, life of the party, and above all else, a very proud single mother to Somer, Samuel, Shay, Sadie and Seth.

Zoë passed suddenly as a result of a tragic accident, her unexpected death leaving the family in a state of financial instability. 3 of Zoë's 5 children are minors, so any donations will be used to alleviate the sudden financial burden of a funeral at this already trying time and help to secure the future of Zoë's family.

This fundraiser is set up to send funds directly to an account managed by Somer & Samuel, Zoë's eldest children.

A Memorial Befitting Zoë's Life:

We want to provide the children and Zoë's loved ones with a chance to say their goodbyes in a memorial truly fitting of her life—one of colour and light and buckets of love. Her children have fittingly chosen a local forest as Zoë's final resting place, for loved ones to forever visit and continue to celebrate her beautiful life.

Supporting Zoë's Family: Seth's Story:

As Zoë was a single mum, in her wake, the eldest of her children now take on the responsibility of running the household and caring for their youngest brother, Seth. Like any 7 year old, Seth loves music, swimming, games and cuddles but he also navigates the world a little different to most. Seth is blind and lives with severe learning disabilities and medical complications, including Autism, Senior Loken Syndrome (SLS), and a recently inserted Gastrostomy for supplementing restricted oral intake.

Financial security will allow Seth's big siblings to provide the care he needs whilst continuing to follow their own dreams in a way that we know would make Zoë so infinitely proud.

Supporting Zoë's Family: Somer's Story:
Somer, the eldest of Zoë’s children, was little over a year into her journey to becoming a Doctor. After training and registering as a nurse in London, Somer had moved to Liverpool after being accepted onto a highly competitive Access to Medicine course. We want to ensure Somer’s dreams of becoming a Doctor can still be chased, knowing that her siblings are cared for and financially supported.

A breakdown of the costs involved and the money we’re trying to raise is as follows:

Initial Goal: £15,000
  • Burial / Funeral costs: £10,000
  • Relieve pressure on siblings (Outstanding credit card balance, unpaid mortgage etc): £5,000

Additional Funds Going Towards:
  • Supporting the family with Seth’s medical needs
  • Supporting the education of Somer, Samuel, Shay, Sadie & Seth

Any additional funds will be put into a savings account managed by Zoë’s eldest children, Somer and Samuel. All funds are being sent directly to the family to help ease the unexpected bills and responsibilities they now have to face.

Thank you for reading, for donating, and for helping us to celebrate Zoë’s life, and ensure the future support of Zoë’s family. The outpouring of love so far has been immeasurably wonderful, and a clear indicator of the impact Zoë had on the lives of others.
