In Memory of Ted Keller

The Davis Besse family mourns the loss of a dear friend.

Ted Keller, age 58, of Castalia, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 5, 2022, while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born November 17, 1963, in Sandusky, Ohio, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1982. Ted had been a member of the Carpenters Union Local 744 since 1997. Many of you will remember Ted during his time at Davis Besse supporting multiple outages and projects of the past 20 years. Ted took pride in his work and wanted success for the people who worked at Davis Besse and for the plant itself. He knew how important Davis Besse was to the surrounding community.

Ted leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 37 years, Brooke Keller, daughter Paige Chesser, son-in-law Charlie Chesser, mother-in-law Linda Grahl, stepfather John (Lyn) Parker, two sisters Kandee (Tim) Sessler and Kimberly (Frank) McCleese, and several nieces and nephews.

This page has been created as an avenue to allow people the opportunity to donate to Ted's family. All money collected will be given to the Keller family to be used in accordance with their wishes.

This page was created with the assistance of multiple Day & Zimmermann employees and former co-workers of Ted. All money collected will be given to the Keller Family, and proof of the donation will be provided to the Davis Besse team for site communication.
