Nico’s Funeral
Donation protected
On Tuesday (11/14/23) our worst nightmare happened… Nico got into a washing machine and drowned. For the past month he has been fighting for his life 3 surgeries in 2 weeks, brain swelling, he would cry but unable to hear his cries bc of the tube in his throat anybody that spent a decent amount of time around him knew he could not go on this way. It was the most selfless thing that we could do. I would’ve taken care of him for the rest of his life if it was a disability that he would’ve ever been able to enjoy life again, but the truth of the matter is I have to hurt so that Nico doesn’t have to hurt anymore. I would rather hurt than him . We finally agreed to pull the tube bc of all the discomfort he had with it hoping he’d continue breathing on his own, unfortunately he did not, today (12/11/23) he took his last breath. His death will not go in vain, things are going to change in Nico’s name. We truly appreciate everybody that has donated already but now this turns into a funeral cost opposed to raising money for his recovery. We are finding out fast that funerals are not cheap anything that anybody would donate to help us go towards the cost would be greatly appreciated. We want to make sure that our son is remembered in the best way possible.
