Hello everyone,
Hello, people of goodness and happiness
I am Lubna Hammad from Gaza, I am 28 years old
I was born into a large family, full of love, happiness and dreams, we lived in a warm and beautiful house, but the war came and everything became ashes, our house, my room, our memories, everything we lost.
Sadness became the only thing that existed because of the destruction that occurred. Everything of warmth, happiness and comfort disappeared, and fear spread
I graduated from Al-Quds Open University with an excellent grade a week before the war. I had applied to study for a master's degree, but I lost all my ambitions and dreams with the war.
I was working as a director of an educational center with a diploma and I was always a diligent and persevering girl, the center was full of students and colleagues, but I lost many of my students in this war and I lost the center and my private office
They destroyed everything beautiful for us.
I have a child named Kenan who is 6 years old. I am separated and I raised him completely. He was supposed to start his first year of school but all the schools were destroyed and now he is just racing to stand in line to get water. He is an asthmatic and his health has deteriorated from the smoke and fire. I have a sister named Aya who graduated from the software engineering department at Al-Azhar University a few days before the war and was about to start working based on her high grades but the workplace was bombed and her dreams and plans were destroyed.
I have a brother named Ali who finished two years at Al-Azhar University majoring in software engineering, but now he cannot complete his education and achieve his dream of becoming a senior engineer in powerful companies.
I am writing this story to you under the bombing and destruction.
We are not in our destroyed home, where there is no safety, no warmth, and no necessities of life.
My father is sick with diabetes and high blood pressure and needs full health care and continuous treatment, but with the poor capabilities, his health has become bad, and we are afraid of his health deteriorating.
What I hope for is to leave Gaza with my family in peace, as we are a large family of 11 people
7 girls, 2 boys, a mother and a father.
The situation in Gaza is very bad, as there are no basics or necessities, which leads to us getting sick constantly.
My family and I need your help and support to get out of Gaza and save our lives
As traveling to Egypt requires Egyptian coordination that costs $5,000 for an adult and $2,500 for children
Our beautiful family consists of 9 members, including women, children and elderly people.
My beautiful family consists of my father (70 years old), my mother (55 years old), my older sister (Lubna and her son Kenan), my sister Iman (27 years old), my sister Aya (24 years old), my older brother Ali (20 years old), and my younger brother Muhammad (12 years old).
We are all living in difficult circumstances in light of the continuing brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip, and we are suffering from difficulty in providing food and drink.
We had our simple and easy life, but it was destroyed and also our beautiful car was destroyed and crushed by tanks. It has been a long time since we left the house and moved from one place to another hoping that it would be safe.
Our story :
We live in the Gaza Strip, specifically the city of Khan Yunis.
We lived in a beautiful, warm house, and we had dreams and ambitions that we sought to achieve, but in light of the war on Gaza, we were forced to leave our house after being besieged for four days without food or drink, in addition to gunfire and shells being fired directly at us while we were inside the house.
During this period, we were forced to leave and flee our home under the weight of fire and random bombing that targeted our home and neighboring homes.
We left the house under threats and gunfire until we reached an area that the occupation claimed was safe, and we were left out in the open and in the bitter cold, without the minimum necessities of life or a place to live.
In the last few days, the occupation returned and destroyed the house again
We set up a worn-out tent that did not protect against the cold or rain. Several days later, our house was completely destroyed and leveled. We lost our clothes, our belongings and everything we owned.
Now we are looking for a way to escape this painful reality by trying to travel outside the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing to secure a decent life.
For the sake of our family and an attempt to save our lives and the lives of our children who are suffering from hunger and lack of food in light of our loss of our source of work during the war on the Gaza Strip.
Now we are threatened with death and hunger at any moment in light of the lack of security in the Gaza Strip .
To the good hearts and people of humanity, I call upon you today to save my father. My father suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes, and because of the war, the occupation prevented the entry of some important medicines for him, such as insulin needles, and as it is known that a blood pressure patient needs comfort, safety, and healthy food, but unfortunately there is none. Something of this, and therefore his health condition will worsen if he continues under siege and health exhaustion, and he will enter a dangerous stage, so I ask for help in reaching the first part of the amount (5) thousand and saving my father first.
Our plea :
We now appeal to you and ask for your assistance to help us collect the amount required to exit the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing. We ask you to help save our lives and our children to a safe place where there is no bombing, no hunger, and no cold. We invite you to donate to us via this link. It is the only way to survive this difficult situation. Many thanks to everyone who contributes to saving us .
How will we use the money?
The required amount is $60,000, to ensure the exit of all our family members from the Gaza Strip. $5,000 for an individual and $2,500 for children.
Thus, we need 35,000 for individuals and 5,000 for children, for a total of 40,000, and the remaining amount is 20,000 to secure the basic necessities for the family and a place to live.
Detailed travel cost :
Father Hamed: $5,000
Mother Sonia: $5,000
Sister Lubna: $5,000
Sister Iman: $5,000
Sister Aya: $5,000
Brother Ali: $5,000
Sister Lina: $5,000
Brother Muhammad: $2,500
Son Kenan: $2500
In conclusion , this is a message from all our family members : We ask you to help us raise the amount required to survive this painful impact and try to provide a decent and safe life for us and our children. We invite you to support us and extend a helping hand to us in order to find safety. Your donations are the only way to save our lives in the devastated Gaza Strip.
Thank you very much to everyone who supports us.
