In Remembrance of Gaye Gardner

My name is Sarah Gardner, daughter-in-law of Gaye Gardner. On Monday night September 20, 2021 Gaye Gardner left us to go to her Forever Home. Gaye passed away from complications of Covid-19. Her husband Paul is still in the hospital recovering from the virus.

Gaye was a beloved wife, stepmother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was a devout Christian woman who loved Our Lord God. Gaye was greatly loved by all who knew her and had an infectious smile that lit up a room. She worked for Keller Williams Real Estate and loved her job and co-workers. She was a member of the Bullit County Woman’s Club and had served 2 terms as President. She was President on the State Level as well.

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, family gatherings and her pets.

Due to the sudden impact of the Covid-19 virus taking Gaye’s life, the family was not prepared for her death. Donations to help pay for her funeral expenses and other expenses associated with her illness are greatly appreciated. This is a tragic loss for the Gardner family, who are also dealing with the slow recovery of Paul, Sr.

Any help is appreciated by her family. Thank you to everyone who reached out offering your condolences. We knew Gaye was a special lady, however we had no idea the magnitude.
