In Remembrance of Michele Parker

Michele was sadly diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) in early October. She bravely chose to pursue the recommended aggressive treatment course. Her family is heartbroken to share that she passed away several weeks later.

For those who knew her, Michele loved nothing more than to be in nature, surrounded by trees and birds. She was a fierce advocate for preserving our public parks, including the Arboretum, Olmsted Park, and many more.

Her husband, Perry, and daughter, Lia, would like to honor, celebrate, and remember Michele by funding a bench or tree in her name at one of her treasured local parks. Your donation will go towards this memorial.
