Mr Bob. Robert Glasgow, passed unexpectedly on May 21, 2019 . We were married for 42 years, have three beautiful daughters. Our daughter Jennifer had emergency surgery on Thursday May 16 at VCU in Richmond, VA was placed on life support because she has end stage pulmonary hypertension and CHF she is 40. Friday, the 17th I Kathy Glasgow went septic and was rushed to the hospital unresponsive. Bob stayed at my side, while Becky age 37 stayed at her sisters bedside. Charley Grace our youngest daughter, stayed at the hotel with Izabella and Sebastian our grandchildren Saturday Bobs breathing was so bad that my (Kathy) nurses wanted to know Bobs where about because he was breathing was extremely remarkable and he needed medical attention On Sunday , after he knew I was going to be ok. He went to the ER and early Monday morning admitted, to the hospital with pneumonia. he was still not responding to the medication. Tuesday they took a CT Scan of his lungs and found blood clots, at 5:00 pm they were doing an ultra sound of his searching, then down to CT scan to check his brain, onto Interventional radiology to blast the clots to make them small for the body to absorb.then into ICU saw his Sebastian, his best buddy. and Becky. At 3:00 the nurse on my floor came and retrieved me to take me to be with Bob in his final minutes. Becky, Charley, Izzy, Sebastian and I were at his bedside when he passed. He knew we were there for a few seconds because his pulse would go from 48 to 64 when I held his hand, then it would drop. it did this three time and then we knew he was on his way to heaven. God got a great Angel Wednesday.
Mr. Bob had beautiful brown eyes that were just filled with love, when you would look into them he would smile and say I love you. After his death, we found out he was an organ donor, and we were asked if the eye bank could have his eyes for his corneas, and the rest of his eyes for education. So our Mr. Bob hopefully will be able to help someone even in his death. What a beautiful way to keep on giving.
Most people knew him as Mr. Bob, we all believe he was a wonderful man, great dad, caring, and kind heart ted.
Theres Amato said he was gracious, kind unconditionally loving. He had a beautiful smile filled with happiness. His eyes would just twinkle.
Brenda, he was a rock, the glue that held things together. The head of the family who always protected, served, and provided for his loved ones and others.
Ms. Yvonne says all of the above and The Word say to give Honor to whom Honor is due.

As he was dying Sebastian begged Papa please don't leave me, your my best buddy. over and over again until we had to leave. Our grandson has gigantism. and is very large for his size. And has few friends because children are afraid of his size 5'7 at 9 yrs old. If they would only give him a chance, they would find that he has a heart and soul just like his papa.
Dave. we lost a great man, he was a Saint of children, owned a beautiful family day care center, ran their business out of love not for money. Our sons Dave and Christopher and our granddaughter Alexis. Mr. Bob as all the children knew him and had a gift for infants. He was such gentle giant, keeper of children whose parents were deployed, first res-ponders, all branches of the military. Adopted a little girl named Charley after her mom was killed in a car accident in 2007, her mom was a family friend and then he be came dad too, her other two sisters, Nonnie and Briana. Saint Bob has earned his mighty wings, soaring above watching over all the babies in the world. One thing we have in common, is he portrayed Santa many years, Saint Bob will always be my Santa. Love Dave.
Mr. Bob was friends to many, but his grandchildren, and daughters, all of them were his pride and glory. as he would say I may not have any monetary riches, but he was among the richest men in the world, just because of family and friends.
.. And as high school friends from Proviso West, where he played football write he had a great heart even when he was young. All the way back to elementary school at St. Bore-mayo. in North Lake Illinois.
He was my best friend, my support as I went through chemo always at my bedside. Always so attentive to my every need. Sometimes he finishes my sentences and there were times he would start my sentences, and finish my thoughts. I have chemo brain and my short term memory is very bad. Even when I would speak OGAN, he understood. He always made sure I would take my insulin on time and always worried about my blood sugars and made sure I took my medicine. Sometimes we would just take drives not far from home and just listen to Christian music on the radio and never say a word to each other, just sing the songs we know. Sometimes all the way to Richmond, to doctor appts. Oh yes, we had our arguments. But we never went to bed mad at each other. oh maybe sometimes we did. My heart has a huge hole in it. I can't believe I will never see his beautiful brown eyes again on this earth. But when we are joined again in Heaven, I know he will be there with open arms, and he will be
able to hold me again. He was so proud of Becky when she earned her Masters Degree in Special Needs Education, and started working at North Stafford her old High School, and for Charley attending Southern Virginia University to start her education in Pre-Med, she is becoming a pediatrician. He was always so happy to take her to school and go and pick her up for the holidays. He would be so happy to take Sebastian to Cub Scouts and Izzy to piano lessons.
He would always tell me I worried too much, I have or should I say we have many of worries now. He had no life insurance, so we will only be able to collect SSI. Our heat pump is gone on our house and have no insurance on our house. Our roof has a huge hole in the corner of it we need to put a new roof on the house. These were all things we were planning on fixing, but just on such a tight budget we were able to afford them. But Bob would patch things as his health allowed. He had CHF, atrial fib, he walked bone on bone in both knees, both arms had osteo- arthritis. We just had to replace all the appliances in our house so the money we were saving went out when Bob was in the hospital in March, Washer went, dryer went, freezer had a melt down. All the extra money we were saving gone within 2 weeks. He was in the hospital for 18 days. I said please come home before we have to replace anything else. Our church family knows the repairs our house needs. Charley Grace would be in charge of the funds, and this will give Becky time for the other responsibilities, she was within our family. Becky has a lot on her shoulders as school comes to a close. The monies will help replace the 37 days Becky had to take without pay for days spent in the hospital Jen 21 between jens first hospital stay and then days spent on Sebastians surgery in April and then again in May his second surgery, because he had a staff infection and they had to open his leg up a second time to clean it out. And we have to add on the last 7 days for Jen, myself and Bob. He pay is very important just for regular household bills, utilities. We are reaching out for help that we so desperately need. A very good friend of ours actually paid for Bobs cremation
