In Remembrance of Our Beloved Tina
Donation protected
With our hearts full of heavy sorrow, we are immensely devastated sharing the passing of our beloved Tina Colunga whom suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, October 4th , 2018.
Words cannot fully express how numbing this pain and loss is of a wife, mother, and dear friend who unquestionably touched an abundance of many lives in her young 54 years of life. She became a well known, unforgettable resident of her community. Tina was the definition of a person who lived to please and help others from an early age- taking initiative to help her fellow neighbors, and certainly her family with a hand around the house willing to learn and make a difference in someone's life. She was a selfless person that was ambitious about anything and everything! For instance, being "mechanically inclined," as her high school sweetheart and husband Danny would say, or her youngest daughter Danielle shared; "would mickey mouse stuff to make it work!" She was a brave person who was not shy to take on such challenges, or openly blossom her charismatic persona of enjoying dancing, humming, singing, exploring and simply making the sky her limit each and everyday! She yearned with all her might to make her kids feel joy and fulfillment anyway they pleased, so she diligently ;for example, would be willing to go more than one place on a Friday night tradition to pick up whatever the kids may have been craving to eat without being stern as most parents might be, delegating what they will have. Their happiness meant the world to her! From excitingly shopping with Kristyn, relaxing in Desert Hot Springs spas with Danielle, helping her eldest son Josh embark on a big chapter in his life of buying his first home, and her youngest child Jacob picking out a new skateboard that she would adventurously ride on herself; these were only a few of the playful- down to earth personality traits she modestly carried in her bubbly heart. Tina cared SO MUCH about the well being of others, such as, wanting her kids to eat 12 grapes at New Years for good luck, standing up for you when someone gave you a hard time regardless of the scenario, decorating on her loved one's birthday, so they felt special and completely joyed, or for her colleagues when they were stuck or feeling stressed. She would do it all not ever expecting anything in return. Tina loved to share the things she was passionate about with others like her audio books, watching her favorite TV shows, seeing her favorite musicians live and wittingly even asking for a picture with them. She wanted to make the most of her day and radiated that humble and energetic vibe onto anyway who crossed her path. She was the kind of person who wanted to be "the first one there and last to leave," Danny beautifully shared with me. Tina opened her arms up to you through any rough current you may have been facing in your life placing no judgement with giving you the warmest and most comforting touch. She ensured to also be a apart of major milestones in your life- always wanting only the best for you! Having the opportunity to work with sweet Tina at Citibank for a few years, I completely admired how much she sincerely valued her customers and would go out of her way to provide them
with exceptional service as if they were family, or a close friend. She would open the door for them, bring them candy to leave at her work station, give them lemons from her yard, and engage with honest rapport showing pure empathy to their lives. Many customers would want to wait to be assisted by her, as they had developed a personal relationship, and felt entirely comfortable while ecstatic to see her every time! Beautiful Tina was devotedly employed with the company for merely 20 years up to her tragic passing. It shuck us all with the deepest unimaginable
heartache. She was referred to as the "mom of the branch," so they honorably put up gorgeous flowers and her lovely picture to illustrate how much she meant to our lives and how greatly impacted we all are by this catastrophic loss. She is survived by her 5 kids and husband Danny, who she was married to for nearly 40 years!!! The love in that family is one of the most gracious and pure more than most I will meet in my lifetime. Due to how big her heart was, the family is being visited by countless people that are now shattered in tears knowing her contagious laughter and
consistent humble smile will be forever missed. Life will not be the same without Tina; this we are all certain, and all of us have lost someone extremely sacred, but her 5 kids and now widowed husband will have to painfully navigate through a new way of living life from the tragedy of not having their rock present with them. I ask ALL fellow friends, family, and good
samaritans to put yourself in their position with empathy and not just imagine how difficult these trying times will be, BUT to take action in making a difference in another human's life and broken heart by PLEASE making a contribution to honoring Tina, so that she can truly rest in peace and honor while helping her family try to enlighten the road of struggle that lies ahead of them from Tina's end of life costs- most know are very costly to the inflicted future expenses that will undeniably arise. Let's collaborate together, as anything greatly helps especially when tragedy occurs suddenly, give back to glorious Tina, and understand that support is vital right now!!! My words could not be more truthful and transparent, as I personally at the age of 29 know what it is like to loose the person that gave you life, your parent. We earnestly appreciate any and every donation with love!
