How We Support Our Dementia Community:

Story Time:

We offer evocative and creative Story Time opportunities. Story Time not only engages the imagination but also provides a opportunity for connection and shared memories, fostering a sense of community for individuals with dementia, their caregivers and loved ones

Life Story Workshops:

The aim of our Life Story Work shops is to engage and equip individuals to use Life Story Books in their own context, where each individual learner weaves stories and memories together to create unique resources. By preserving and sharing personal stories, we help individuals with dementia to feel seen, heard, and valued.

At Home with the Seasons:

Through these workshops, we help encourage our learners to build a deeper connection with nature. They are accompanied by a resource book of the same name, specifically developed with people living with dementia and their carers in mind. Through seasonal activities, we promote well-being, sensory stimulation, and a deeper appreciation for the world around us.

Art Classes:

Our art classes offer a therapeutic outlet for individuals coping with dementia. To enhance the learning experience, participants receive complimentary art packs containing necessary resources, and so we welcome donations to sustain this valuable programme.
