In Support of the Rosario Girls after losing mom

On Tuesday, September 8, 2020 the lives of three beautiful girls, Alina, Liana, and Nalia, were turned upside down. Their mother, Christina Zaragoza Rosario, went in for what was supposed to be a routine in and out procedure for Gallbladder surgery.
Christina’s heart stopped on the operating table and was resuscitated after 20 minutes of medical intervention. She was then placed on life support. Prayers for a miracle provided much hope for our family as the days turned into a week. We truly believed our beautiful Christy would beat the odds placed against her. Christina was taken off life support on September 14th and we were told, as a family, to say our goodbyes. She fought for another 24 hours. Her tenacious spirit fighting until she no longer could. She opened her eyes one last time before leaving this earth on September 15th.
If you were blessed to know her, you know she had the most amazing laugh, a wonderful sense of humor, and a fierce loyalty to her loved ones. She loved with a passion so deep that I don’t know if it could ever be replaced. It was with her daughters that her stunning smile and dimples shined brightest. Her daughters never gave up hope, praying on their knees daily for the miracle we all wished for, while her husband, JR, stood diligently by Christina’s side encouraging her to stay with all of us. We are appreciative she fought for us to have the opportunity to prepare ourselves for the hardest goodbye. While we contemplate and struggle through the why, we choose to stay strong and provide these three young girls with as much love and faith as possible.
It is Christina’s extended family’s wish to raise funds to help the JR, Alina, Liana, and Nalia get through the medical expenses, funeral costs, and provide some funds for whatever else the girls might need. We truly appreciate you taking a moment of your time to read this, and we are grateful for any donation you may provide. Life changes in an instant and your support and prayers are tremendously appreciated.
