In the loving memory of Janine Omran

In loving memory of our dear friend, Janine Omran, who touched our lives in so many different ways and always brought us together, we have come together to initiate a meaningful project that reflects the beautiful spirit she embodied.

One of the most impactful ways we can honour her memory is by engaging in acts of charity (sadaqah) that will benefit communities and individuals in the long run.

We have decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for a noble cause. Our goal is to build a water line in an underserved area in Egypt, providing access to clean and safe drinking water to a community that is in dire need. The construction of this water line will serve as a continuous form of charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) on behalf of Janine, allowing her to earn rewards for good deeds even after her passing.

In Islam, Sadaqah Jariyah signifies that each individual who benefits from this water line will serve as a continual source of reward for Janine in the Hereafter, rendering it a gift that continues to give.
